Thanks for the list. I didn't know some of them.
I'd like to suggest http://meerkat.oreillynet.com. It
is a web based RSS aggregator, so it lists news
headlines from many different news sites.
Slashdot does suck; a lot sometimes. I got tired of it
myself.
Have many BRLUGgers tried any RSS newsreaders? Looking
for a good one for OpenBSD.
