Visited the Xandros site and noticed that though
version 4 is out, it is the paid version.  They did
not indicate a date for an open distribution version.

Wonder if some arrangement is likely to make
the new version available to Newbies at no more
than a modest sum.

Also assume that since Xandros is Debian based
I could install Mondo Rescue and back up both
the Linux files and a Windows area too.  Will
have to experiment with media.

Wonder what is the relative merit of backing up
directly to DVD vs backing up to a USB hard
drive then burning the backup file to DVD.
