[brlug-general] xscreensaver and gnome-screensaver locked

After chmod'ing a lot of SUID stuff on my Debian box, I noticed that I
could no longer unlock xscreensaver.  I figured it was something with
the program so I tried gnome-screensaver and got the same results.
Apparently Debian has them or a password checking program SUID.  Does
anyone know what I need to reset?  Google hasn't helped much.
