Does Linux have a lightning-quick, very simple gui text editor a la MS Notepad? In Windows, I love Notepad2, which is close in functionality to gedit, but it takes 3 or 4 seconds to load, whereas Notepad appears almost instantly. When I just want a quick glimpse at a file, I use Notepad. And for the record, vi is NOT a Notepad clone. =P
