[brlug-general] Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick under Linux

I recently bought a Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick USB on sale at Best Buy. 
  Basically, it's a device that plugs into the USB port and allows the 
user to watch HDTV programming and record on your PC.

I found some online instructions on how to get it to work in Linux, but 
had no luck.  I'm running Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.

If anyone has had any luck making this work, please post.
