My "reply" is, if one no longer wants to be raped and pillaged by the "Evil Troll King of Redmond,
Washington, then write a software program in Linux, Unix, BSD, etc. that is "universal" and
compatable with all platforms.

For years, I used "Word Perfect 6". Then, I got real busy and didn't have time to "write" any
more. I saw a version 11 of Word Perfect and bought it at the ComputerSheaux here in S'port.
I was never so disappointed in all my life. It's not near as good as my old WP 6. This computer
doesn't have a 5¼" floppy drive for me to load my WP 6. :-(

Now, if someone were to actually WRITE a Linux word-processing program, like Word Perfect
6, I wouldn't mind shelling out a few dollars to have one that worked. They also might write a
small database program that allowed you to check "dupes" as well.

Oh, BTW, my ham callsign is going back to KA5LQJ as of 25 June. My dementia causes me
to say my old callsign, when I'm on-the-air, without ever thinking. So, it's easier just to go back
to what comes "natural."

For those of you who plan on working Field Day, I'll be on 40 meter ssb, with my New "old"
call, "King Ace 5 Lucky Queens & Jacks".

Respectfully submitted,
73,

Don aka. "Buck"/KA5LQJ
