I did this a long,long time ago. The client had an old SCO box they
wanted to move to Redhat 7.2. Part of the reason is the software vendor
(a time-keeping application) actually suggested it. Their application ran
better on Redhat using SCO emulation than it did running on SCO natively.
This was using the ibcs2 kernel module. Obviously this was supported by
the vendor, while they ported the app to run natively on linux.
Looks like ibcs work is continued with the linux-abi project:
