So to recap:

1. ”The quality of the capture cards on the market are a joke at best”

2. ”digital OTA tuners are beyond useless at this time.”  

3. ”don't buy the PVR350... get a card with decent TV Out.”

 

Changing your home computer into a VCR for only $13 is beginning to sound pretty good. I can transfer old (MPEG-1 quality)VHS tapes to computer and record tv shows off of cable for at least the next couple of years.
