Vindication?  If you see it that way, great.  I'll feel good when Cox becomes 
an advocate of network freedom instead of being part of the problem.  

There's a small chance that this person will be punished for saying what they 
did.  If that's the case, they were going to get it anyway.  That's the point 
of these filters, isn't it?
