My impression was that most people in BR are still on dial up.  Correct or 
not, that's the low standard that Cox has to meet.  Their internet service 
has been stripped of all but a few of the advantages one at a time.  They are 
still a little better than a DSL line from Ma Bell, but those won't be 
available anytime soon.  Good luck getting SpeakEasy or some other good 
provider.

Prediction:  Cable UAPs will magically change when M$ gets significant market 
share for their "home servers".  They won't let you run normal web or email 
but they bandwith caps will rise and the hypocrisy of bit discrimination will 
be more evident.  Their insecure OS and poor quality P2P implementation will 
cost providers a fortune.
