Howdy!

The Baton Rouge ISSA Chapter is currently measuring interest in conducting
free CISSP instructional sessions covering the CISSP Common Body of
Knowledge.

Each "class" would be guided by a CISSP certified individual, and would
cover 1 of each of the 10 CBK domains. Classes would last 1-2 hours at a
maximum. No schedule has been decided upon yet until we are able to better
assess the interest level. The aim would be to prepare folks for taking and
passing the CISSP examination. Candidates also need to meet the other
criteria for receiving CISSP certification, such as the experience
requirements, however all are welcome to attend regardless of skill level or
experience.

Attendance is FREE for ISSA members. We welcome non-ISSA members, but ask
that if you plan on attending more than 2-3 courses you become a member of
the Baton Rouge Chapter and pay the standard ISSA dues. Those instructing
courses will receive CPEs for their preparation and instructional time. Once
we are able to measure interest and determine that the courses will be
conducted, we will update those interested with the schedule and location of
courses.

Feel free to relay this message to anyone you feel may be interested in
attending or instructing.

If you're interested in attending or guiding some of the courses, or have
additional questions, please contact myself or Loy Evans directly at
jarredwhite at gmail.com or loyevans at cisco.com.

Thanks!
Jarred
