The second July workshop will be Monday, July 17th, starting at 6 PM, in the computer lab at the Cajun Clickers Computer Club Offices. I will be doing a demonstration installation of the latest version of Xandros as well as demonstration a number of the new features of X4, which includes, among other things, CrossOver Office 5, which provides to ability to run an ever increase number of Windows programs, music management via a Xandros enhanced version of Amarok including iPod support, photo management via a Xandros enhanced version of Digicam, a security suite that includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, and a firewall, enhanced wireless profile management, enhanced drive and partition management, enhanced support for multiple monitors, simplified migration of your e-mail, music, photos, bookmarks, etc from Windows to Xandros via the included Vesora Desktop, AND read and WRITING of Windows NTFS partitions.
