[brlug-newbies] Linux Desktop SIG November 20th Workshop

The next workshop will be held on Monday, November 20th at 6 PM in the computer lab. The topic of the workshop will be Linux security. We will look at several different firewalls and virus scanners that are available for your Linux system. 

Also, we have been invited to do a presentation on Linux to the general membership at the December 7th club meeting. I would like to take some time during the workshop to get some suggestions as to what we should do during the presentation. I think that many of the most recent SIG members that are long time Clickers members have joined the SIG as a result of seeing our open house presentation during the last open house, so we plan on using that as a starting point, but would like more specific input from the SIG membership. Why did you join the Linux SIG? What are you getting from the SIG workshops? Would you like to be a part of the presentation?
