Greetings all, 

The next Linux SIG event will be Linux Day at the Cajun Clicker's Computer Club office on Saturday, April 14th, 2007. The day will kick off at 9 AM with the presentation of the "Linux: The Alternate Desktop" slide show at 9 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM. Following the slide show, folks will be invited to the Computer Lab to experience Linux on the desktop first hand. We will have Linux running on a variety of platforms including desktop, laptops and even on a MacIntosh. There will be coaches available to answer questions and provide assistance. Refreshments will be available and for those that are not Clicker's members, there will be folks available to help you get signed up. 

If you know of someone that is considering Linux, please pass this information on to them. Better yet, pick them up and bring them with you. 

The workshop that was scheduled for Monday April 16th will be postponed until Monday May 7th when we will do another InstallFest for those that are wanting to get started using Linux.
