[brlug-newbies] March 4th Linux SIG Workshop

Greetings all, 

The next SIG Workshop will be held on Monday March 4th at 6 PM in the Cajun Clickers Computer Club Lab. In the first 30 minutes or so of the workshop, we would like to get some feedback/brain storming from the membership regarding the "Linux Day Open House" that will be held on April 14th starting at 9 AM. Following that, we will spend a little time introducing new members to the SIG Wiki and how to use it. Then we will look at the Xandros package (program) management tool, Xandros Networks. This tool combines the functionality of the "Add/Remove Programs" and the "Windows Update" tools as well as several other features. If time permits and the Xandros 4 OCE installation has been pushed out to the Lab computers, we may look at some of the new features that have been included in this release.
