Please do so. It would be nice to take a look at the differences. I don't have an iPod. If anyone has one, bring it, along with its communications cable, and lets see how well it works with Amarok. I have a Palm Life Drive, a video camera that doubles as an MP3 player and an actual MP3 player. Haven't tried any of them with Amarok yet, but will by Monday.

Xandros Home, Premium and Professional Editions come with the Xandros Audio CD Ripper, which is a Xandros created product that works very much like FreeRip for Windows, and is integrated into Xandros' version of Amarok, which they call Music Manager. It scans the CD, goes to CDDB and gathers the album information, rips to FLAC MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Wave or CDA, users choice and configuration, and saves the tracks to ~/My Documents/My Music/Artist/Album/Tracks and names the tracks artist - track number - title, all of which are user configurable. Xandros File manager will also do the same thing just by dragging the tracks from the CD to a folder, but is not as flexible. Then, there is also grip.
