[brlug-newbies] So, a question to everyone.... whats your favorite distro?

Just curious about Ubuntu.  Doesn't it have Gnome as the desktop or can KDE be installed.  I've heard good things about it and tried Kubuntu, but just couldn't wrap myself around Kubuntu.  Nothing against and I don't have anything bad to say, just wasn't for me.  

I tried CentOS and have considered another try.
