[brlug-newbies] Linux SIG scheduled for April 21st.

Ed,
Sorry, I have been ill and have not attended the last two meetings. 
besides having questions about the audio stuff I missed, i'm still 
looking to learn about wine and / or parallel for running those windows 
apps (I wished I didn't need) that still won't run under linux, like 
Quickbooks, and MS Streets & Trips.  I also have been trying to get my 
Linux box to connect to a Surveillance Cameria System DVR, by 
Geovision.  The windows geovision client works on a windows OS but have 
not been able to find a linux client.  The geovision DVR box is linux 
based.  I hope to be able to attend a 21st meeting if we have one, but 
am getting ready to attend the CEIC 2008 forensics conference and will 
be leaving the end of that week. Also trying to get Ubuntu 7.10 loaded 
on a USB thumb drive and be able to boot from it.
