[brlug-newbies] January 21st Linux Desktop SIG Workshop

Happy New Year to everyone. 

The next Linux Desktop SIG workshop will be held on Monday, January 21st at 6 
PM. As most of you know, the SIG will be doing a presentation at the February 
club general membership meeting. I would like to use the upcoming workshop to 
do a dry run of the presentation that we will be doing. I am planning on 
starting out with about a 10 minute video that demonstrates many of the 
features of Compiz-Fusion, "The Wow That is Linux", then demonstrating some 
of the features myself live on my laptop. I am then going to do the slide 
show "Linux Is Not Windows" that I have done a couple of times for the SIG. I 
would appreciate any and all feedback on all of this. Also, anyone that wants 
to participate in this presentation is more than welcome to do so. I don't 
know if we are doing the first or second hour of the meeting, but I think 
that Mark Lappin is going to demonstrate Vista during the second hour, so 
this should be very interesting. :)
