Greetings all, 

The next Linux Desktop SIG Workshop will be held on Monday, March 17th at 6 PM 
in the Linux Lab. In this workshop, we will learn now how to rip an audio CD 
to various file formats and then edit the file once we get it ripped from the 
CD and have the file on the computer hard drive, using the very popular cross 
platform audio editor, Audacity. Bring an CD with you as we will be doing 
this hands on. 

Also, we were informed in the board meeting this past Monday that the club 
internet access speed has been significantly increased. This should make 
things a lot easier, especially for the Linux SIG, since everything is so 
internet intensive. 

If you have questions or need some help with other Linux issues, bring them 
too and we will try and help you with them.
