Greetings all, 

In the upcoming workshop I am going to show you how to install and use the 
QuickStart utility for Ubuntu. You can find links to its home page and some 
tutorials on the links page of the SIG Wiki. 

Also, I have been playing around with some portable apps from 
http://portableapps.com because I really needed to have KeyPassX work as a 
portable app. I have been able to run the Portable App menu program and, so 
far, I have also run KeyPassX, FireFox, and OpenOffice from the Portable Apps 
menu with it running under Wine on Ubuntu. I will show you how I do that. 

Bill DePierri also has some information to share with the SIG membership.
