Greetings all,

By popular request, the next Linux Desktop Special Interest Group Workshop will be an InstallFest. In this InstallFest we will help you address any and all hardware and/or software issues. If you want to install Linux on your computer, bring just "the box". We don't need keyboards, monitors or mice. If you want to dual boot your computer with Windows, prior to the InstallFest be sure to check your hard drive for errors, defragment the drive and be sure that you have at least 5 gig of free hard drive space. I'll have copies of the latest versions of Ubuntu and PCLinuxOS available. If you want to use a distribution other than these, go to http://www.distrowatch.org and download the ISO of the distro that you want to install, burn the ISO to a CD or DVD as appropriate and bring it with you.
