Greetings all,

The next SIG workshop will be Monday March 16th at 6 pm in the Open Source
Lab. The first item on the agenda will be to discuss Whole Foods Earth Day
Celebration. There are few things that are any more "green" than Gnu/Linux.
Will Hill has arranged for us to set up a display in the store rotunda to
promote Linux and CCCC. We need to discuss what we are going to do, how we are
going to do it and who will be doing the "doing". Wednesday is a work day for
me, so my direct participation will probably be, at best, limited.

I know some of you have wanted to know how to install and run Linux from a USB
device. I will show you some of the most recent developments in this area as
well as several options on how you can actually run Linux on Windows. This is
particularly useful if you want to try different distributions or, if, like me,
you have to use Windows at work but want to also be able to use your Linux
programs on your work computer.

Finally, have you ever been somewhere other than on your primary computer and
wished that you could access the bookmarks/favorites from that machine. Now
you can, and I will show you how.

See everyone Monday evening,

Ed
