The next Linux Desktop SIG Workshop will be held on Monday, November 2nd from 
6 to 8 pm in the Open Source Lab. In this workshop we will install all of the 
software that Thomas will be using in the upcoming series of workshops that he 
will be teaching on Blender. While we are doing this, we will also take a look 
at the new release of Ubuntu 9.10, Karmic Quaola. We will also look at a 
script called PerfectBuntu. From the authors web site "perfectbuntu is a Linux 
script built specifically for Ubuntu-based distros, and it makes the 
installation of all your multimedia, DVD, fonts, etc. so very easy."
