I would have to say, that your poll of four people is not representative of
the larger population of students. Most people don't put two and two
together and realize that they are paying twice. The average person is
probably just fine with having "free" software. Just like the average person
is an uneducated voter, or worse, doesn't vote at all. I would also venture
to say that your associates are not the average computer users either. Think
english majors, polisci, business, etc.
